I have been on it for a long time. I find it isn't holding for the 12 hrs as much as time has moved along. The last time I spoke with the specialist he said it is the newest and hasn't seen any that would be any better. Have a phone consult next Thurs and will rehash this as maybe I should be having a Neb or something. I didn't have any side effects at all. Worked great at the beginning. All the best to you
Likewise, been using for three years now instead of a combo of Alvesco, Symbicort and Spyriva (also helps unclutter the medicine cabinet :-), but when discussing issues like these, it's always important to bear in mind we all react differently to the same medicine.
I also have bronchiectasis in addition to COPD. This was my first bad summer needing rescue & I attribute it to wildfires. Just changed from Symbacort to Breztri a couple of weeks ago. I feel much better & dropped the albuterol. Air quality in my city is still moderate at times.
Tried Breztri when I didn't think my Trelegy was still working. Breztri did not help me...I have chronic bronchitis, COPD and emphysema. Went back to Trelegy...breathing better again. I believe the wildfire smoke really affected me this summer.
I started trilogy when it was new, but discovered one of the ingredients was causing severe coughing, and then started using Symbicort which was better . my cough stopped. I started using Breztri when it first became available and find that it is the best thing so far for me. I use albuterol rescue inhaler, as well as nebulizer with ipotropium. So far so good.
I found Breztri to improve my symptoms over the Trelegy that I had been taking. Still using it in conjucntion with Ventolin. Stage IV COPD, with Chronic Bronchitis and just recently started the 02. What can I say! It is what it is!
I have had terrible insomnia for the past 6 months that has gone unaddressed until today. This Pulmo Sleep Dr has recommended Trazadone 50 mg for sleep. Has anyone experienced insomnia secondary to the inhaler usage as both ventolin and Breztri have compounds that could act as stimulants making sleep a little difficult especially if used in the evening.

My new lung doctors got me going on brestri I’m in stage four COPD also with bronchial problems. I didn’t think my trilogy worked all that great it does some stuff is anybody had any trouble with taking those and getting infection in your teeth or anything? Just thought I’d ask.
I have never experienced any dental problems while on Breztri or Trelegy. Just make sure you rinse your mouth out after inhaler use to decrease incident of thrush. Hope the Bretztri works well for you. How are you managing with your bronchial issues. Mine are a bear....lots of secretions and coughing. Am looking at some studies and procedures that have helped in reduction of the secretions. Ie thermoplasty of the Bronchi, Rheoplasty...hopefully I will find something,
I’ve used it for 18 months. Less sputum, easier breathing, and fewer flare ups. For me, it was an improvement over trelegy.
