Has anyone taken the Hib vaccine?

Has anyone taken the Hib vaccine? It has been given to children since the mid 1980s ? but can be given to adults too. Wondering if it is something people with Bronchiectasis should consider.

‘The Hib vaccine protects against serious and life-threatening infections caused by the bacterium Haemophilus influenzae type b.’

I have not seen a lot about it but will look for more information.

I haven't received it. My understanding is that it's usually only given to adults who have had spleen removed or have a spleen that doesn't work efficiently like those with sickle cell disease. One site I just checked indicated it might be given for certain types of cancer, which was new info to me, but makes sense..

I have received RSV vaccine and there was a recent discussion here about that, in case you missed it or haven't had.

If your doc indicates something different, please share.
