Anyone learned anything about the shortage of Carboplatin?

I have stage three Ovarian cancer and chemotherapy for nearly four years. I am now only having one drug infusion, carboplatin, that has worked very well in lowering my CA125. Now I hear there is a shortage of carboplatin. Have any of you been advised by their doctor as to how he or she plans to adjust their patient to another treatment?
