Has anyone here NOT gained weight from Forteo or Tymlos?

Hi,
I just started taking a teriparatide medication yesterday and now I'm kind of freaking out as I read all reports from people who have gained lots of weight from these medications. Has anyone here not gained weight as a result of teriparatide?

hdeff, After three years of Forteo, I haven't gained weight. But from reading user reports I'm convinced of the is a risk. From that patient reportage, it appears that the gain is all in the belly.

It may depend on what weight you start with? I was underweight when I started 40 mcg Tymlos. then took a full dose of Forteo for 6 months, then back to a half dose of Tymlos. I was on these PTH meds for a total of 26 months. I gained 14 pounds and most of it in my belly. I have been off of these medications for a couple months and have not lost the weight. However, I try to eat all healthy foods and try to get as much calcium as possible from food. I am actually afraid to lose weight, since it might mean that I will break more bones. Low weight and small frames are associated with osteoporosis and fractures.
