Has anyone here had a TAVR procedure for aortic stenosis?
Hi, I’m 83 years old and have been diagnosed with moderate aortic stenosis. One of the findings in a recent echocardiogram was that I may have a bicuspid aortic valve. I definitely don’t want to go through open heart surgery when my condition becomes severe. Has anyone here had TAVR having a bicuspid valve? Do you have any suggestions for interventional cardiologists or medical centers where they have performed many TAVR procedures? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Implanted Medtronic model #EVOLUTR-26-US in June 2022. I'm still here, so it is working. Went through the leg, amazing,
@jsb932l Thanks for your reply, jsb9321. I appreciate the information!
I had Medtronic KO51123 Evolut FX + Transcatheter Aortic Valve implanted on 5-28-25 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
I have also had the Watchman implanted at the same hospital at a different time All well so far. Thank you God!
Happy to hear that all went well for you! Just wondering, could you share the name of your interventional cardiologist who did the TAVR procedure?
