Has anyone had the pouch removed because of complications

I have gotten sick recently after being exposed to heavy metal at work and now my w pouch and small intestine hurt all the time and the antibiotics haven't worked I just got the scan done where they shot contrast in your ouch and arm at the same time and I'm waiting for the doctor to call I'm scared they won't be able to fix it and I'll have to get a pouch or not be alive and I hated having the temporary one and the thought of having it back makes me cry I'm not sure how to accept this I'm afraid I can't do it
