Has anyone ever had a seizure with headshaking and fluttering eyes
Hi. Four years I have had partial simple seizures where I have felt a flashing sensation and a strong sense of déjà vu and a feeling of disorientation for about 30 to 60 seconds. But for several months now often on my seizures have changed where I have also had times where I have, completely spaced out and according to my family, my eyes will start to flutter, and my head will shake. I can hear them talking to me, but I can’t respond.

There are many kinds of seizures. Please advise your doctor of the change if you have not already done so.
Take care!
Hi @isaiah432
As I have learned, seizures can evolve and change throughout the years.
I have mostly auras and complex partial seizures. As you described, early I would have a strong sense of déjà vu and a feeling of disorientation for about 30 to 60 seconds and I would come back immediately after the seizure as nothing had happened. But with the years, my seizures have changed. Today, I can no longer talk during a seizure and it can take up to an hour to be able to talk again and not feel disoriented.
As @erin830 mentioned, it would be good to talk about those seizure changes to your doctor.
All the best!
