Has anyone else had issues with eyes or eyesight post esophagectomy?

I’m presently 7 months post Esophagectomy. Since the surgery, I’ve had puffy, red eyes and red bags under my eyes. I’ve never had bags under my eyes before the operation, despite my 76 years of age. Also, I had cataract surgery five weeks ago, and my doctor told me yesterday that she saw inflammation in between the cornea and the lens. Has anyone else experienced similar effects to their eyes? Thanks in advance—this site is a great resource!

@earle I have had no treatment yet or surgery . Right now I am stage 4 unless mayo has other answers for me on the 16th. My eye problems have gone alone with the tumor getting bigger. Fargo thinks the cancer is in my aorta and bone in my back. But I’m not convinced. Hope mayo has better answers.
