Has anyone else experienced exacerbation?

Tiredness, sputum w/puss & blood. I searched as I didn’t know what was happening on a Saturday…finally found something to try and it was my rescue inhaler. Suggested was 2 to 4 puffs. Got me through the night and hopefully today (Sunday).

I bet that most people in this forum have experienced some type of exacerbation! Your symptoms often go with the territory with bronchiectasis infections. Would it be possible to share what type of infections you've had in the past?

First step is a sputum culture so doctor can see if something is growing that needs treatment. Airway clearance detailed in this forum is standard therapy.
