@ladyjane85Have had severe mid back pain for more than ten years. In the last three years it has been a 7 or 8 and is ruining my life. I am unable to do anything. I saw a spine and pain doctor for years. He tried everything he could think of, nothing helped. He finally turned me loose. That was a frightening experience knowing there was nothing anyone could do to help me. I finally asked him about the Boston Scientific Spinal Stimulator and he thought it might help me. So I contacted BS and met with them and the local neurosurgeon who installs the device. Everyone thought it might be a solution for me. I had the surgery almost a year ago
And the results were not what I had hoped for.
If I turn the stimulator up very high I can feel some diminution of the pain. But … my whole body vibrates and it is only tolerable for a short time. My hope was I could stop wearing a TENS unit 24 hours a day but now I have the TENS and the stimulator. Was hoping someone on. This site has found help.

Was it placed in the correct spot? Having someone who knows where to put the electrode helps a lot.

1 Reaction@bajjerfan I had not thought about placement. The doctor who installed the device does most of these installations. Don’t know how to find someone else who could check the placemen but will try to figure that out. Thank you for the info.
I got a TENS unit from AUVON w electrodes. It gives a diagram to show, where you may want to place your electrodes for different parts of body in pain. That helped me a lot. They have it color coded even.

These are amazing stories. I will pray for each of you!
I’ve had 5 surgeries as well. But now again in chronic 8-9 pain each day. Few choices going further.
