@maize have you ever taken the biotin supplement? I do think it helps with my hair loss. At least some.

My hair started thinning and I was left with dime and quarter size patches. I started taking a multivitamin and Olly hair gummies after the advice of my dermatologist, who told me to take Nutrafol supplements which I couldn’t afford. My hair started growing after about 3 months. Then I added a collagen powder and also a 5 protein powder to 2 oz almond milk 3x a day and my nails and skin are better. I’m getting 1200 mg of calcium with adding a Viactive chew, and the protein and collagen and hair supplements from all these have really helped. I have tried biotin and other stuff by themselves and it never helped. This is the only time in my life that using stuff as I described has worked for me

I had PRP, the procedure where blood is drawn, put in a centrifuge, and the plasma is injected back,in my case, right into the scalp. I've been using minoxidil foam daily since hen, and my hair is back to normal. Unfortunately, once hair follicles die, there's nothing to bring them back to life. That's why it's so important to treat hair loss early on. Also, minoxidil benefits last only as long as you take it. It reverts back if you stop, but it's very quick, just rubbing the foam into your hair; so there's really no reason to stop.

I started taking a comprehensive multivitamin along with Olly hair gummies, and a 3x day collagen/ protein shake regimen with 2 oz of almond milk, after my dermatologist recommended Nutrafol, which I couldn’t afford. My hair started growing in after 3 months. Now after a year, all of my quarter and dime size bald spots are gone. It really worked for me!

The brand is: now

The capsules are 5000 mcg each and are vegetarian. Also free of most (all?) allergens
