Has anyone lost their hair while on FOLFOX?

Has anyone lost their hair on folfox? My dr said it might thin some. Wondering what to expect I’ve just completed 3 rounds.

Male here, 81, completed six rounds/cycles of FOLFOX end of December 2024. As I understand it, a round/cycle consists of two weeks. In my case, each two-week cycle began on Monday (Day 1) with an in-hospital infusion, lasting approximately three hours in total. Before leaving for home, a small pump was attached for slow chemo infusion that continued through Wednesday (day 3) afternoon, when the pump was disconnected. Days 4 through 14 were used for recovery of strength. On Friday, Day 12, back to the hospital for a blood draw and analysis by a hematologist/oncologist to prepare for Cycle 2, beginning on Monday (Day 1, Cycle 2) with infusion. I had a full head of hair, and at about Cycle 4, I noticed hair thinning about 50% only on top, but not on the sides. Hair on trunk and legs all gone, and six months later, still gone. Severe overall weakness occurred during Cycle 4, and after completion of Cycle 6, FOLFOX infusion was ended by mutual consent. After about four months, hair on the top of head grew back, but now curly.

I have very thick hair. Had it to middle my back. Once I lost about half.... my hair stylist told me least cut to my shoulders to get the weight off which will help lil more from more falling out... And she said to wash it less. Compared to almost everyday or every other day Ive always done.. I started washing it once every 4 -5 days and in between I used Batista dry shampoo which really helped it look clean in between washes- not sure how long your hair is.... But then I used Bed Head Small Talk which is hair thickening cream and WOW! When I blew dry it, really helped especially when hair started coming back. Ive tried SO many thanks and those 2 are my go to that didnt make things worse
