Gross hematuria (blood in urine): Can't find cause
I’ve been having gross hematuria for the last 20 days. Very bright red I’ve had blood tests and CT scans,
There is no infection and the scan show nothing. Urologist seems baffled.
There has been significant amount of blood and some clotting nearly everytime pass urine.
Has anyone had this happen?
My red counts are low ( due to blood loss)

Yes I've had at least 3 scopes, even a kidney biopsy about 3 years ago.. never have found stones !! Never have pain either !! It's crazy frustrating.

I am 84 yr old man with recent discovery of blood in urine
I just went through this. Crazy, we all thought it was urinary but after being in menopause for quite a while, it turned out it was my uterus. I had it removed 2 weeks ago after 4 months of bleeding.
I have always had microscopic blood in urine, or at least for about 9 years, I thought this was the same and at first we assumed it from my urine track because it was on and off and more off by the time I got to the doctor each time. Then it became really heavy and I went to the ER and that was when we figured out it was the uterus.
Funny story though, Tuesday I started bleeding again on top of recovering from the hysterectomy. This time it was a kidney stone. My body just wants to bleed I think…
Thanks for sharing .. I know it's not " female" / uterus As it's been out a long while ago.they have narrowed out gynecology issues.
So back to bladder or kidney or ???

@carolak Do you have IgM issues? That can cause urinary bleeding too. I do and think that is why I always have some in my urine.
I'm not for sure Can you tell me about Igm and your situation
