Gravity Assisted Drainage

Posted by picartist @picartist, 2 days ago

I've been diagnosed for a little over a year now and still learning. Something I have learned is when I lie down on my right side I start coughing up more mucus than normal. Other positions not so much. I do water aerobics four days a week in the morning and this drainage usually happens when I lie down mid afternoon daily, but not always. I am going to see my doctor in two weeks and will ask about this and how I should deal with it. Should I do the Acapella always lying on my right side or just maybe once a day. I normally sit in a chair in my home. Any advice on this will certainly be appreciated.

I use my aerobika in various positions: sitting, laying on my back slightly inverted, and laying on each side.

I was taught to do a cycle of 10 breaths upright, 10 breaths on left side, and 10 breaths on right side. I try locally so this twice through during a session. I hope this helps!
