Golf ball throat?

I have that constant mucus running down my throat, too. One doctor said I have a deviated septum and need an ablation. Another doctor said sensitive vagus nerve. I know I have GERD. I have a lump feeling at the base of my throat, which is very annoying, but I have no problem swallowing. This has been going on for months now. Being in Florida, can't see the doctor until the end of July for ENT, and Gastro isn't until Sept. I am taking OTC Pepcid for the burning in my throat, but nothing to help the mucus. My stomach is also always upset. I just turned 75 and feel like my body is just falling apart!!!

Hi, we are all different. I had “globus”, that same feeling. I have the “silent”/laryngopharyngeal form of reflux, no burning but constant post nasal drip and had the globus. I tried the acid watcher/reflux diet two years ago and globus is gone and other symptoms improved. Your causes may be different.

Years ago I had a deviated septum which caused me to be a mouth breather. Had it fixed long ago and now I can do lots of things without gagging.
