Gene Editing Research

In this month's Reader's Digest, there is an article entitled Saving Baby KJ. It is about Dr. Rebecca Ahrens-Nicklas research on gene mutation editing of the mutation of the CPS1 gene. This editing helped basically cure an infant. Is there any work being done on gene mutation editing of the JAK2 gene? If this is even a thing. Just asking.
