You have provided a lot of good examples of food choices! I agree that ground beef (or ground chicken/turkey) work better than other meats.
As there is no diet that would be good for everyone, it is important for each person to find out what is right for them. You have done a great job in finding out what works for you!

1 Reactionthe bottle says it helps with the motility of your stomach which is also good for IBS and any stomach related issues. It is all natural. I am beginning to wonder if that is why I can eat quite a few things...more than most people here...and don't have any vomiting or bowel issues. Sometimes I feel fuller faster than other times but I find it's because I've eaten something about 3pm before dinner. But 6 meals a day is not an option for me. So Equate is my go-to protein supplement. Get it at Walmart. Recommended by my dietician because it tastes better than Ensure, same as Ensure for ingredients and proteins/vitamins/minerals, and is cheaper.

2 ReactionsWell, iberogast helps my stomach process my food faster. Probably not at the rate it did without gastroparesis but I do not vomit, luckily. And I only felt nauseous and bloated once when I drank a whole glass of fountain Pepsi. Can't do that. It won't hurt you and just might help. Try a small bottle and see how you do. My gastroenterologist just prescribed it to my son who is 51 and has the same disease. Is this stuff heredity???

I'd like to invite you to view this recently published post on the Connect "Gastroenterology & GI Surgery” Page. Madelynn Strong, clinical dietitian at Mayo Clinic, recommends strategies and foods that might help relieve symptoms of gastroparesis, and speed up gastric emptying.

2 ReactionsBefore pregnancy i was diagnosed with mild gastoperises. For a few months the vomiting and discomfort wouldn’t go away. Then, it all got back to normal. But I lost a lot of weight and didn’t recover.
A year later I was pregnant. Through everything was bc of the morning sickness, but ended up with a Nj tube and tpn.
After pregnancy the vomiting continue I was in very bad shaped. After a few studies with one of these hospital in the state the only thing they found wrong with me was how fast my stomach was emptying to the small bowel.
They called them dumping syndrome. But I don’t have any symptoms of dumping syndrome. When it comes to diet I eat what I person with gastroperises eats. If I tried to follow a diet of a oedoja that has dumping syndrome I can really sick.
Meeting with my IG to discuss about coming to Mayo Clinic for a second opinion.
I’m desperate

3 ReactionsHello @quiteachiver75
I can appreciate your dilemma about liquids and the problem of bloating. It has been suggested to me to sip water throughout the day and I also eat small potions, throughout the day. I never eat big meals.
Have you had any GI surgeries that might contribute to this problem?

1 ReactionLook up Crystal Saltrelli on google. She has a great website on gastroparesis and is a sufferer and “expert.”
I eat a lot of trail mix that I make with Costco Trail Mix, unsalted mixed nuts, dried crasins, m&Ms, dried apricots, ...as a treat I eat a non-dairy avocado ice cream... As a Snack try celery or Napa cabbage with peanut butter on it..
