I would like to invite you to listen to Dr. Bithika Thompson and Marilyn Bailey, R.N. who discussed diabetes on Facebook Live yesterday.

We posted the following question on Live. I believe this might be good information for Type 2.

"For Type 2 diabetes what is a good rule of thumb for grams of carbs one should have at each meal and snack and maybe total daily calories?"

Here is what Dr. Bithika Thompson and Marilyn Bailey R.N. say:
"It is difficult to recommend daily calories without knowing your current weight/height and activity level. Consider making an appointment with a Registered Dietitian for specific guidelines. Generally speaking, most healthy women need about 45 grams /carbohydrate per meal and most healthy men need about 60 grams/meal. If a person chooses to snack, keep the carbohydrate content of that snack to about 15 grams carbohydrate."

@blima, Could you tell us a bit more about yourself?
