Four covid shots and covid
I had gotten 4 covid shots. Then Christmas week of '23 I didn't feel well. Went to walk in clinic and was tested for covid. Negative. 3 days later went to primary and tested again. No covid. Christmas day cooked for 30 people and don't remember any of it. That night didn't go to party and went to bed. Two days later was found in bed unconscious. Covid, septic and pneumonia. Was told another hour or two and I would have died. Was intubated and spent 3 weeks in hospital. In February of '24 having stomach and chest pains. They did ct scan and was told it looked like carcinoma of omentum. Had pet scan and was sent to oncology. They did biopsy and it was inflammation of digestive system. Still having so many problems and no one addresses that the problems I'm having could be covid related. Memory problems, digestive problems, multiple hernias in abdomen and diaphragm, extreme fatigue. Had surgery for a Bochdalik hernia previously and it failed. On top of this I have an inoperable meningioma next to brainstem and aortic aneurysm. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I am going to a new doctor next week which is a concierge-type doctor and from what I understand he spends time with you vs doctor who spends 10 minutes and you don't see a PA (no offense to PA's). I'm hoping he'll be able to help me. Has anyone had any help in post-covid treatments? Thanks for reading this.

carsok, Bless you. You have really been through it and I am so sorry.
I've had COVID twice with the first time being the worst with double pneumonia in 2022 and ended up in the E.R. The 2nd bout in 2023 was milder, but, took a long recovery. Too many lingering symptoms to mention.
I was diagnosed with Long Covid in 2023. Three of my doctors do not acknowledge Long Covid.
I went to an Integrative Medicine Doctor that treats Long COVID. I did the infusions with vitamins for my immune system and then I did the Glutathione. I reacted to all of them because I'm sensitive to so many things.
This may be a route for you to try. If a Concierge type Doctor is the same as an Integrative Medicine doctor,
then it may be worthwhile for you. If you have bloodwork done, insurance covered mine through labcorp, but, the visits
were out of pocket. Is there a COVID recovery clinic near you?
Sometimes, talking to a Compounding Pharmacist, they can recommend doctors for Long Covid that can think
"outside the box".
I am praying for you and wish you the best. Bless you.
Once you got over the reaction to glutathione, did it help at all?
sweetwater9, I never could get enough in my body without reacting to it to tell. I wish I could
tolerate it. I itched terribly with it and I was exhausted on it.
I pray you find the right fit for you.
covidstinks,
I am going to try glutathione again next week. Just the amount I can scoop on the top of a flat toothpick. Glutathione does make you detox so maybe your symptoms are related to your body detoxing. I am hoping I can get up to two flat toothpick full and leave it there for a while. I may have to detox some metals as I had high mercury in my 20's.
Unfortunately no treatment for post covid here is available they are still learning about it where I live.
I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. I will keep praying for you.
I know exactly what you mean with NOT getting any form of help from any doctors. I'm in the same boat 4 years now with LC and tired of it. The symptoms are astronomical and keep coming. I can hardly get up but can't sleep. The extremely fatigue, memory loss getting worse, brain fog, digestive issues far worse than 1 month ago, stomach issues, pain issues, nerve issues, skin burning, hives and rashes migraines, face pressure, almost like I have serious flu with pneumonia on top of it. Dizziness and lightheaded and stumbling. It's so bad. I've finally got to the point of no longer going to the doctor because no one is helping me nor do most care with Long Covid. I'm so tired just exhausted. It's debilitating most of the time. I went from always upbeat, enjoying holiday parties that I would host every holiday, travel working nonstop to the point of I can hardly leave my home.
I hope you find relief and will pray for you.
I'm sorry and feel for you but at least reading what you wrote I feel I'm not going crazy. Everything you've written could be me. At 77 I feel like I'm on borrowed time and just want to enjoy the time I have left. Instead I wake up and think another day of hell. Like you I was always active. I've climbed Kilimanjaro, ran a half-marathon, would walk 5 miles a day. Even at 65 I was active and now if I can get out of the chair I'm lucky. I just want to enjoy what time I have left. Going to a new doc next week and maybe, just maybe, he'll really listen. Thinking of you and my prayers are with you.
I also have many changes today that I know started after covid, it seems that I started with several symptoms for some time and then they started easing up but soon new symptoms began, I found that the hardest thing I had to deal with was the doctors I had to see, they would question me about everything and send me for tests which never came back with any results? I was always relieved to hear that nothing was wrong but I still suffered. When I had heart problems and excessive sweating the cardiologist said that my heart was beating too fast but didn’t offer me any solutions, when I mentioned that it all began after covid his demeanour changed, that was when he suggested I see a psychiatrist for mental health?? I was so insulted by this and later on I mentioned this hear, I was shocked to find out how many people were saying it happened to them, if they didn’t find anything to explain your symptoms, they would recommend psychiatric help. I remember how many people started giving up due to this happening to them, no answers to your questions so it must be all in your head. I hope and pray that one day they will find solutions to this serious problem, until then we have to keep moving forward slowly and don’t give up on hope, try praying for help because God is listening and will help us all back to good health, peace and happiness.
It is so frustrating to not get any help. I saw a new primary since mine retired. We went over my history and I spent about an hour with him. I asked him about long covid and he just shook his head and said we just don't know. At least I felt he was honest about it. So one foot in front of the other. Wishing you peace and hope one day you get answers.
Oh my dear, I am dealing with the same thing for over 4 years now. I am so sorry that this is happening in the United States. If doctors don’t know what’s going their go to is mental illness.
