Have anyone tried collagen with Fortibone for their Osteoporosis? If so, did it help?

Have you had side effects from the Evenity? I have drug sensitivity really bad and am concerned to take it. That is why I was reading about the Fortibone collagen. My Dexa was-4.4 I need to do something because my neck and back get so painful.

gma14fun,
I didn’t have any side effects from Evenity other than after the first injections. Then I had flu like symptoms for a day. I continued to have eleven more injections with no problems.
I have also tolerated Forteo, Tymlos, and now Reclast with no problems.
Everyone is different. I’m just stating my experience for the sake of our very small research group here on this site.

I think it is made from goat’s milk.

Can I ask what your new bone Dena scan shows after your year of taking Evenity? Is it helping build your bones? Also have you ever tried using Fortibone collagen peptides?

gma14fun,
My dexa showed improvement in my spine and left hip. Right hip didn’t enter into it as I had it replaced last year and it’s now titanium.
I use the supplements that Keith McCormick sells on his web-site.
I am careful about my diet and I go to gym 4-5 times a week. I think my bone gains were probably due to the Evenity. I’m all for any and all natural cures, but I think that the significant improvement I had is due to
Evenity.

I'm wondering if anyone has purchased their collagen from The Bone Coach? His collagen has both Verisol and Fortobone?

I am using Kevin Ellis Bone Coach collagen right now. My first month to try.
Wish there was a way to tell if it’s actually doing anything more than the fabulous collagen I was in for a third of the cost.
Love to hear from anyone who uses long enough and gets tested for themselves to know if it really was worth the insane cost.

Are you working with The Bone Coach (Kevin)? If so, what are your thoughts? I am finally considering it. I know very little about it (him) except that it is extremely expensive. Thank you for any information you might have.

Yes I signed up for his basic $500 program with lifetime access. Tons of videos. I’m still working through just the first of the three sessions but have learned so much I didn’t know and can talk to my doctor far more intelligently to get the help I need. It’s taken a lot of my fear away over future fractures. Well worth the cost for me.

I am currently taking NativePath brand Collagen with Fortibone.
I’m thinking of ordering Kieth McCormick brand.
In comparing the two labels…
NativePaths jar says 30 scoops (5mg each scoop) one months supply
And McCormicks jar says 90 scoops (5mg each scoop) 3 months supply.
The amount of product in McCormicks jar is a little over twice the amount compared to the NativePath jar by grams.
Am I just not understanding the math or what? Seams like McCormicks brand would only be two months supply.

I need clarification.

Took recommended amount of McCormick Osteo Naturals Fortibone daily for 18 months. Then got another DEXA scan, and all my scores were worse. Otherwise healthy, taking supplements and exercising daily. I was very disappointed with the results, so stopped taking Fortibone.

I have taken McCormick's Osteo Collagen-pep for 18 mos. Each 15.9 oz lasts for 3mos. You get more for your money than any other Fortibone product I've seen.
