Have anyone tried collagen with Fortibone for their Osteoporosis? If so, did it help?

Have you had good results onyourDEXA scan after using collagen.

I am torn on which brand
Osteocollagen is least expensive
Native path is NSF certified
Algaecal is highest ratings

Thank you

@rwrighto I've started taking OsteoCollagen-Pep. It's pure Fortibone, 5 gm, dissolves completely in my morning coffee. I've read it's very cost effective but I haven't compared.

@bethieb I've been using OsteoCollagen-Pep for a while. It's not cheap, but that is partly because the container is large (16 ounces.) $60 plus $11 shipping.

There is a Fortibone product on Amazon, Healthy Bones, that costs $24 for 5.3 ounces. That is expensive per ounce, but if you get free Prime shipping, you are paying $72 for 15.9 ounces, which is comparable to OsteoCollagen-Pep when shipping is considered. OsteoCollagen-Pep is currently out of stock, which happens every so often.

I've been using AlgaeCal collagen with Fortibone from Amazon, but now the price has gone up from $47.43 to $55.80 for 30 servings (with the auto-ship program). The original price was already outrageous. I will be switching to Healthy Bones Co. Collagen Peptides Total Body Formula. Like AlgeaCal, it contains Fortibone, Fortigel and Verisol, 13g collagen peptides and 12g protein. It does not contain the amino acids that AlgaeCal does. The price with auto-ship for 30 servings is $48.24.

Are there any Fortibone formulations not made with beef collagen?

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted.
The last Dexa scan I had was July of 2025. I then wanted to get a REMs Scan in Danville, CA . My bone quality was not as great as I hoped it was.
I’ve been taking Native Path Bone Health with Fortibone for a year and a half.
My last Dexa did not show any improvement.
I’m taking two scoops a day now with one scoop of Marine Collogen as well.
Taking 1000 IU D3 (was taking 2000 but Endocrinologist said to lower due to my blood work results show some signs of kidney problems.
I’ve tried to cut down on sugar a little alcohol, still doing yoga and Pilates 4-5 x week , walking 3-4 miles every day or skip a day.
50 or more deep squats 3x a week . Added homemade Walnut butter .
Adding more Omega 3’s which helps build bones instead of Omega 6’s that actually prevents building bones is important. Many really good veggies are higher in Omega 6’s. That’s all I got for ya!
1 teaspoon of Carlsons Liquid fish oil daily.
Tried vibrating plates, not a big fa and no proof it builds bone density. Hopping on one foot but it jarred my lower back.
