Forteo: What is your Experience?

I'm looking for anyone's experience with Forteo. What were your side effects? Were they tolerable? Did you see good gain in bone density? What med did you follow up with to lock in gains?

Had 28% approx gain after two years on Forteo. Was doing pain relief injections through it and after, in both a hip and epidurals, so fear I may have blunted/decreased it some. Need spine related surgery in the future so looking for further optimization and ways to test more reliably first without undermining my progress. This is difficult to find integrated care for. Had one Reclast maintenance round so far. I have never had any side effects from Forteo (was a generic).
