Hi @annyann11, I have moved your message to the Ear, Nose & Throat group as I think you'll get more suggestions from members here. I'm sorry to hear that you feel your issues are not being taken seriously.

Have you been seen by an ENT specialist? If you were able to get an appointment with an ENT specialist in MA, might you have a family member or friend who could take you to the appointment?

With the results from the arm massage, and the connections seeming unrelated in the conventional sense, it makes me wonder about a nervous system connection, like maybe the vagus nerve(sp?)
I know someone who recently underwent dry needling(DN)procedures.
This is very unlike this person to accept an acupuncture-like treatment. Her physical therapist that administered the DN explained this came out of clinical trials for cortisone shots. The clinical trials where everyone got shots but some got placebo discovered cortisone didn’t beat placebo shots because the needle itself caused the brain to pay more attention to the injured area and communicate with it differently.

I have no idea if you can find DN in your area nor if they can address such an issue, but with DN basically being the western version of accupuncture, no liquid insertions or religious connection needed, it might be something to look into.

Hello Joe - are you sure it is mucus and not saliva? There are a lot of things that can contribute to excessive saliva - here is an article about it:

Have you looked into any of those possibilities?
