@shar1120 I have always had the current age-appropriate vaccine, both while I was on antibiotics, and for the 4 years since then, without any issues except a sore arm, and maybe feeling poorly for a few days. This year I barely felt a thing.
I also get all the other recommended vaccines, even though a few have caused some unpleasant after-effects for a while. I even goat a DPT booster when my grandson was born, while I was on the Big 3.
I am in line to get the RSV and newest Covid vaccines as soon as my clinic has them.
Here is what both my primary and ID doc have had to say - "You already have bad lungs and other health problems. You really don't need to add another virus or infection to your body!" After watching my brother and a good friend suffer through shingles, and another get hospitalized with pneumonia after the flu 2 years ago, I am convinced I don't want to join their "club"

I don't believe there's a problem getting flu shot. I'm on MAC antibiotics last couple years and received shot with no issues. Always best to run it past your Docs first.
Thank you ! I ended up with the high dose Flu vaccine and last week I had the newest COVID vaccine. Both only gave me a sore arm. Stay well
I have now had all three injections (Covid & RSV just yesterday) - fine except for sore arms and a slight headache. But that might be because my grandsons woke me up at 6am.
