Flecainide

Posted by Krav Maga @kravmaga, Jul 7, 2023

Hi All,
Does anyone in the group take Flecainide 100 MG for A-Fib or any arrhythmia?
Does anyone find it raises their resting heart rate and/or their heart rate in general ie: when exercising etc. ?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

I take Flecainide for many SVTs that caused extreme fatigue. I take it twice a day for over 6 months. It ended my SVTs and now have normal sinus rhythm. My resting HR is a little lower, but nt a lot. It still rises a lot when exercising. No problems. So much better then. The only problem is doctor has to watch my GFR as I have stage 3 kidney disease.

I take 50 mg twice a day and have not noticed my heart rate increasing. I also take 2.5 mg of Bisprolol at bedtime.
That is a beta blocker and slows heart rate..
Hope that helps.
