Finding a good doctor

I've just been diagnosed with PD. I'd like a second opinion from Mayo. Anybody recommend a particular doctor who specializes in PD?

Farwa Ali MBBS. Is very very good. She is also an MDS. I went to her for a second opinion in July 2022 and I found her to be very pleasant , very forthcoming andvery honest with me.

I'm glad that you are seeking a second opinion at Mayo Clinic. When you are beginning treatment for a new diagnosis, a second opinion is a wise choice. As this is your first post, please share a bit about your Parkinson's journey.

When my Parkinson's was diagnosed, I was having balance problems, foot dragging, as well as a very soft voice. My symptoms were primarily on one side of my body. What type of symptoms led you to the doctor? Have you started any treatment, such as medication or physical therapy>
