Finally something that has been a big help!

Hello friends, I am sharing a supplement combo that helped me a lot.
Backdrop: Delta covid [a.k.a. the Real Thing] and 2.75 years of long covid, primarily GI symptoms, plus others. Leo Galland MD’s papers on the mechanics of covid and long covid, and his diet & supplement recommendations were a big help to me along the way. One thing he recommended is TolloVid, which was impossible to find. It contains an extract long used in traditional Chinese medicine that is reported to help suppress viruses that can live dormant in your body for many years, such as Epstein-Barr. As I am sure you know, EBV is one of the research areas for long covid. This year a competitor has brought the same extract to market, Tollo19. It helped me IMMEDIATELY. I hate to recommend amazon, but it has by far the best price.

I was also taking another supplement recommended by another doc that also is related to combating EBV, monolaurin. You it take with an equal amount of lysine. Given the common denominator of EBV, perhaps the combination of Tollo19 and monolaurin is the ticket, and I feel better than I have in nearly 3 years. Be well!

BTW, Dr Galland's paper of January 15, 2023 "LONG COVID: PREVENTION AND TREATMENT" is the best research on covid and long covid that I have found, and also has recommendations by symptom class. He had written previous papers, but do not skip this one, it adds new information and pulls it all together.

Thank you so very much for this! Praying for your complete recovery!

I've been saying this for sometime now it's the reactivation of other viruses that are contributing to are symptoms such as hhv6 virus which has been linked to cfs/me which I have been living with for 30 years

I am so glad you found something that helped you! What a blessed relief. It's so hard to be doing trial and error, feeling crummy, just hoping to hit on the right thing. Thank you so much for sharing this so others may be able to benefit too.

I did take Tollovid and it did not help me at all. I remember seeing a study on it that it was more effective the closer you took it to having COVID, and I took it about 2.5 or 3 years in (1 or more years ago). I do not mean to discount your experience or discourage anyone else from trying it, just a bit of a word of caution to temper people's expectations. I did not have EBV reactivation when I was tested for it, so maybe that could be why it didn't help me. Good luck everyone with finding the thing that works and hope you keep recovering!

I hope that you feeling better! One thing covid and long covid have reminded us is that everyone is different, which sure makes treating them difficult! I think that everyone in this group already has their expectations tempered, I sure have, comes with the word "long"! All the best for your complete recovery
