Fibromyalgia

Sorry to see about your continued pain. What about treatment? I’ve never been diagnosed with it, but have had unexplained muscle, joint, tissue pain for years. No exhaustion, so probably not Fibromyalgia. Lately I had great relief though and I’m not sure why. I’m attributing it to a new med I’m taking, but not certain of any correlation. Hope you can get some relief.

There could be something else going on but fibromyalgia pain is pretty much constant in my case aswell. It even hurts when I roll my eyes on bad days. I think they say you can learn to live with pain but I am struggling even though I am determined to get on. I have just had a UTI which knocked me out and bought on a flare. The GP thought I had appendicitis and told me to go to the hospital but I was correct in thinking it was the fibromyalgia making the UTI worse. I think pain can be less on good days... Here in the UK I have finally been heard. I have neurology sorting out my slipped disc and finally heard from the pain clinic thanks to my gastro consultant chasing it up. I was looking up small fiber neuropathy as it fits my slow esophagol motility and GORD so I will mention it at neurology appointment. It's worth gathering evidence, and mentioning it when you next see a doctor. I have a suspicion that there's always something else at play , well in my case the daily pain isn't just fibromyalgia at the moment.
I hope you have some answers, it's a complicated condition but a really real one. I too would love a day off from pain.., amtripuline and pregabalin does help lessen it though.x
