Feeling ill all the time so when should you go back to doctor?

Posted by saraz @saraz, 3 days ago

I've had LC since March of 2022. I had severe fatigue for the first 6 months, shaking/vibrating and weakness. I was tested for everything they thought might be happening with no results. Since that time I have had varying symptoms, better then worse. The past 3 months I have gotten much worse.
My question is, how often do you go back for more testing? I have an annual physical, where they check the usual things.
Because I am feeling worse, I now worry something else may be happening that is NOT LC, but with so many symptoms, how do you know?
This is all so frustrating.
Thank you all for sharing your thoughts. I hope this question may be helpful to others.

saraz, Hey There. I also have LC and it is something you have to take one day at a time.

I was diagnosed at a Covid Recovery Clinic in 2023. I decided to go to an Integrative Medicine Doctor
who treated Long Covid. I did the IV Infusions and I am on several vitamins to help with LC. It is
a slow process. I am seeing some progress and I am grateful.

Praying for you. I empathize. Please keep me posted on your progress.

Don't go to the doctor without demands. "I feel generally ill" isn't going to get you to "I feel acceptably ok to do what it takes to survive today". And that is not even asking a lot.

Learn. Hard to do, as I've seen AI completely take over old files I researched last year. I can find the article, but the AI assist has dire warnings about how dangerous misinformation is. Shocking BS that I think is irresponsibly dangerous. How are the public supposed to arm ourselves with knowledge? Yikity yike yike yikes.

With that preface, I advise you to look into nutrition depletion and see if that matches your worsening symptoms. A spike protein can send the body into a fight mode, that raises your metabolism. Think of it as your cells are hyper-actively adjusting to the invader in the blood. Instead of a battle, nutrtion, rest, repeat going on inside of you...The generals on both sides of the battle have nothing but Brutes and Ceasars fighting, and after some years, they've reproduce aliens that fight both sides. 24-7 your body is using nutrients, as if you are running a marathon.

What are you putting in the fuel tank? That is how you get better. Sacrifice, more sacrifice. Adaptation for your adaptations. Gone are the days of old you.

I'm am 11 months 2 weeks from when I shed my old me. It involved a 10 day hospitalization in the funny farm. It was supposed to be 30 days. But the specialists there could not prove that I was nuts, nor substance-dependent and they were forced to release me. I refused their meds. I refused their incorrect meals. They began to comply when they tricked me into a psych med and I had a cardiac episode. Suddenly, the meals were correct, my evaluations became more pointed in the correct direction, my head became totally clear.

If my doctor said I was nuts, and the funny farm specialists say that I'm normal, then guess what? I'm the smartest one in the room. THEY told me to stay inside when I feel down. Ya know what works? Going out in the sun to weed, while sitting on my arse. Then what - is that a nice spot for a potted plant? Next thing, you're at the store picking out something else to look at. You nurture it. Before you know it, you remember how to nurture yourself.

Going to the doctor won't make you well. Going to the doctor is how you made it to your present state. When I had the worse chest pains, last month, I decided to call -not the doctor- my friend. I called my friend to say, "I'm going jogging to park. I'll call when I return." I went 3 miles (used to go out for 5), my chest pain remained unchanged. I made it back home and said "F it", and went out for a 4th mile. I did it again the next week. I did it again the next week.

I still fee like shit.

I did 10 miles over the weekend and I'm pooped. But I'm accomplished. And for that, I feel better. I forgot all about the chest pain, which I noticed yesterday afternoon, was gone.

Get out of your mind. Get back to nature. See the order of things. Doctors are no bueno. Follow yourself to health.

I would follow up with your doctor as needed and when anything changes. These symptoms we're having could be LC but they could also be something that's actually treatable. I know we're all so sick n tired of being sick n tired but silently suffering should not be our only option.
Take care xx
