Feel like I'm gonna die soon

Posted by danybegood1 @danybegood1, Apr 6, 2018

Dany here. Haven't posted in a while. I feel very physically ill. Nausea and headaches every day seems like. Blood tests normal. I have diabetes 2, fibro, hypothyroidism, osteoarthritis, gastroparesis, HA almost 2 years ago. I am in deep depression. Started therapy, 2 visits so far. Not enough I know. Will keep going. I need help with whatever is wrong, but I don't know who to ask, and I don't know if anything physically is wrong more than what I've listed. I'm just very confused, worried, and sick. Any ideas? Dany

Well, I don't see my last post. It's an important one. My ex husband died 3 months ago and no one told me. I am devastated. I still loved him. Now he is gone, and I have an elephant sitting on my chest. I'm crying a lot, very upset. Step daughter gave away all his furniture, but I will get back the old fashioned record player I gave to him. I do not yet accept that he is gone. He is sitting in an urn in his daughter's house. How do I psychologically realize that he is gone? Should I ask for a tour of the place he used to live? Any suggestions? Dany

I'm so sorry for the way you learned of your former husband's death. Your grief is just beginning, even though delayed. I've seen that the grieving process is a personal thing, not the same for everyone, and doesn't necessarily follow the steps in a certain order. I know that I'm still in my own grief process after more than 12 years. I've been able for the most part to step away from it, but I'm still very much aware of it.

I imagine that you're feeling some anger for not being told sooner. Sometimes it's hard to understand why people do the things they do. Life - and people can be pretty complicated. I pray that you'll have peace in your heart even in the midst of upheaval and pain.

Except for pain, I have every one of these symptoms. After a battery of testing (all results were normal), I’m convinced it’s anxiety. I feel nervous, nauseous, out-of-body and in general very ill. And, yes, its so bad at times that I feel like I am about to die. These attacks are not continual but come in occasional waves throughout the day. Just anticipating them can bring the panic on. I’m trying herbal remedies now, i.e., magnesium, B-12, 5-HTP — all with minimal results. May take up yoga again. The most helpful remedy is knowing I’m not alone.
Thank you all for that! I empathize with every one of you.
