Fatigue while on Abiraterone + Prednisone + Lupron Depot
My husband has been on abiraterone, prednisone (both Dailey and Lupron Depot (every 3 months) or 1.5 years. He takes a nap in the morning about an hour after he gets up; a nap in mid afternoon and falls asleep watching the news right befor dinner.
Is this normal?

I took Lupron + Abiraterone + prednisone for 2.5 years starting at age 76.5, & didn't notice any fatigue. When I went off of it all two years ago, I didn't notice any difference either.

I didn’t have any fatigue either, but I’ve worked with people that have had serious severe from it. 5 mg of prednisone doesn’t restore enough cortisol for everybody and for those it doesn’t supply enough cortisol fatigue is inevitable.
I was on Lupron, Zytiga, and 5mg prednisone. Severe fatigue. Upped prednisone to 10mg. Helped a bit with fatigue. Then started cutting back to begin a "holiday." Getting off the prednisone was horrible. Reduced pred from 10 to 5. That triggered the most fatigue I'd ever experienced. Had to find a doctor that would Rx pred in 2.5mg doses. Took 6 weeks to get off the pred reducing a little at a time. I'm probably an outlyer with this kind of reaction. Just beware of getting off pred.
