Excess sinus drainage inquiry

My husband’s nose drains heavy mucous about 5 minutes after he consumes bread products or if he enters a warm room after being in the cold outdoors. It is profuse and predictable. I’m wondering if there is anything he can do to manage this besides restricting gluten?

@clkurth, coming into warmth after being in the cold outdoors is sometimes normal for me. but not after eating bread products. i know nothing about gluten foods. but it'd be advisable to get a opinion on it.
