Ever had a rbc in urine that was nothing

Has anyone had rbc in urine that was a small amount and retested

Sometimes stress or high blood pressure can force some rbc's thought the filter of the kidney. If it stops and does not reoccur, then you probably had an episode of something called "functional hematuria". Meaning the few rbc's in the urine does not indicate a pathologic condition. Still, better to have it checked out to be safe.

They found 6 rbc in urine under microscope. My urologist was not worried but still checking it out

I am male and yes I have. Retested at Urologist and nothing found. RBCs and protein are also concerning.

If you had repeated tests where RBCs were found serially then I’d be worried. But a one time test you shouldn’t be worried. One key thing to do though is maintain a healthy fluid intake. Many people who are busy these days forget we need to hydrate. Good luck.
