Anyone taken Evenity (romosozumab) for Osteoporosis?
Has anyone taken Evenity? I understand it’s only been on the market for a little over a year. I’m hoping it will help with my severe osteoporosis. Any information is helpful.

I have taken both. Just finished a year of Evenity. I had absolutely no problems. Now I have to decide what is next. My doctor recommended reclast, because if I go back on Prolia, I am on it forever. I took the reclast. I had more side effects from that than either of the other two.
what side effects did you have from Reclast? How long do they last and is there something they can do to alleviate them?
I am finding success in getting the tests I want when I tell my doc what I want rather than ask.
I wouldn't hesitate to evaluate whether my doc is the right one for me.
I’m hoping I can make it through the year of Evenity, second shots are today. I had a horribly sore arm the day of and day after the first shots, as well as a few nights where I barely slept. If it doesn’t get worse than that and I can improve my -4.3 spine score, it would be worth it.
In the same boat too. Tough decision making on the evenity.
Debra’s,
What were your Reclast side effects like? I’m on Evenity and may have Reclast in my future.
I meant debrar. Spell check changed it for me. 🙁
Susan,
While on Evenity did you have to have any dental work done ? If so any problems ? I am on Evenity and this is one of my fears.
Hello,
I would like to know how long after my last Polia injection can I start on Evenity?
Thanks
Your doctor should know.
In Keith McCormick's book "Great Bones," he says the standard time from last Prolia to first Reclast is 6 months, but that blood testing should be done to be assured that the timing is right for the individual. Maybe the same is true for starting Evenity??????
