@cheezwizard Unfortunately the Doctors office and nurses said that my Blood Pressure going up every month while on Evenity: two shots one in each arm was nothing. They totally ignored my concern as I had Low Blood Pressure until I started the Evenity shots. I stopped after 6 months as my Insurance would no longer cover it which turn out to be a blessing in disguise. I and was sad and put down for my concerns about my blood pressure going up up and up. They really did not care to hear about my BP and they told me I just had "white coat Syndrome" which was untrue as I was NOT stressed at all which was very insulting. I believe the Evenity had a Black Box warning which should stay on the med warning.

@jjpoodlespress, what type of insurance would cover it and then stop? That sounds very unfair. My mother’s orthopedic doctor is strongly encouraging her to start Evenity. She had an arm fracture from a fall, with slow healing as well as osteoporosis. Her risks of substantial fracture at this point are very high. She says my mom’s insurance has approved the costs.
My mom is still hesitant, but insurance coverage has not ben a concern. She has Medicare and an Advantage plan. Did yours provide any reason they discontinued it?
