ET and cannabis: Anyone talked to hemo/oncologist about cannabis?
Anyone talked to their hemo/oncologist about cannabis? I am having increased anxiety and insomnia, and 5 mg of THC before bed in gummy form once in awhile sounds mighty appealing.
In my health care systen, docs rarely prescribe benzos because they repress reflexes, and you have to submit to yearly drug tests to make sure you're not abusing them.
However, RED FLAG CAUTION, some studies point to a correlation between strokes and cannabis use:

I will talk to my GP about this when I see her in May, but just wondering what others might be hearing.

I use a CBD/CBN product which helps keep me asleep, as I was having long sleepless episodes in the night. Once I tried such a product with a bit of THC. Oh my god, that was bad. I was so dizzy and nauseous that I tried to get up to go to the emergency room. Luckily, I threw up and all was well. I am evidently NOT friends with THC. But of course this is not what you asked. I look forward to hearing more replies about medical evidence.
