@denis76 Xtandi is one of the 3 second gen ARSIs (with Erleada and Nubeda). From Astellas (Japan). All 3 are highly effective but have different side effects. The restriction on Erleada might be Russia restricting import to conserve cash. Might not like J&J (US). Hard to say why it will not be available. 2031 is about the date Erleada will first go generic. And I am sure generic Zytiga will still be available. Can you stock up? Might extend Erleada use for a few months.
@denis76 I'm not a medical guy, but Xtandi (Enzalutamide) is also a 2nd-generation ARSI, aka "lutamide," so in my layperson's opinion, it should be roughly as effective as Erleada (Apalutamide) or Nubeqa (Darolutamide), like +/-5%.
Do you have any information about what's up? I know the media is very strictly controlled there.
As a person coming from a war torn country I can only say - It is always the same - few idiots have maniacal urge to have *issing contests and enriching themselves while sitting safe in their villas and causing innocent people to die and suffer with no end in sight : (((.... I am sooo sorry 😥.
Can you find some pharmacy in India or China that would send you that medication with doctor's prescription ?
What do you mean, dear Denis - that your country will not have it available any more ??? : (((
WHY ??? : (((((

3 ReactionsI'm so sorry to hear that. Why would it be? Under international law, sanctions aren't allowed to include food or medicine.

Enzalutamide and Zytiga too?
@jeffmarc
Enzalutamide before 2031
@northoftheborder
A huge number of people in the country don't receive lutamide and are dying. I'm one of those who still manage to receive it.
My doctor says Erleada can be replaced with Xtandi. What do you think, North, is it an equivalent replacement?

The doctor is correct. You may not notice much difference, if any.
