Emergency antibiotic given

If not on antibiotics for a MAC infection were you ever given an antibiotic to take with you on a vacation/trip in case it was needed.
If so what were you told to do, how to take it etc.? What was your experience that indicated to you that you needed to take it while on vacation etc. etc. etc.?

@blm1007blm1007 If you experience a flare up with your symptoms then you can use the antibiotic. A flare up might present as cold / sinus infection type symptoms leading to fatigue, possibly achy body, cough and / or fever, and likely more phlegm and possibly a deeper coloured mucus. There is more inflammation of the airways.

If you have symptoms consistent with new infection, the specific antibiotic was likely given to you based on your last sputum test results, to treat any flare up when you can’t as easily access an antibiotic. Use as prescribed by your physician or pulmonologist. Hope that helps and hope you enjoy your trip!
