This is my 3rd pain pump prior to this replacement they reduced my amount I was getting they were supposed to replace the catheter but didn't. Since the new pump I have had symptoms of numbness over entire body. They say my new pump is at a lower dose then The prior one. I have dilodud on board has anyone else had this happen to them?

I am almost at my wits end. Nearly constant pain at level 8. My pain pump does not help at this point in time. I am currently at 2,85 mg of Dilaudid per 24 hrs. I have six boluses. If I start boluses in the morning, by the time I reach the last one around 8 pm, my pain seems to drop slightly to a 4 or five. I know that some here who have a pain pump have said that they have had to go as high as 4, 5, or 6 mg per 24 hours. I am hoping that will be the case for me. Please share any encouraging words. Thank you!
