Eczema and skin rash
Hello, I’m looking for some feed back on diet as well as advice. I developed a severe eczema flare up this year, and currently have been prescribed an oral steroid. I am gluten intolerant and suffer from fatigue and insomnia. I also have constipation/diarrhea gas and bloating. Been reading about leaky gut and have most the symptoms. I started a probiotic recently as well.
I was wondering if leaky gut can cause the rash over my body that seems seprerate from the eczema? If anyone has any suggestions It would be appreciated.

Anyone else having severe eczema after receiving the shingles vaccine 2 years ago?
WHAT ARE THE NAMES OF THE PRODUCTS YOU USE
I’ve Grover’s Disease. My first episode was several years ago and went into remission within 6 weeks. I’ve had another flair up and I’m now into over 2 months of suffering from this disease. I’ve tried several RX ointment prescriptions to no avail. My condition just keeps getting worse by the day. Has anyone tried ultra violet light treatment? Or, any other suggestions.??
I have CHE (Chronic Hand Eczema) very frustrating have tried steroid cream, oatmeal cream, penicillin cream, urea cream and nothing is reducing the problem.
Has anyone experienced CHE and what did you do to resolve it. Thank You
@chubasdad It's been a long time ago for me, but the eczema (atopic dermatitis) on my hands was severe. My dermatologist treated me with cortisone shots, ultraviolet light and cortisone cream (I even had to slather the cream on at night and sleep with gloves on). Even with all this, it took a few weeks.

Budwig Protocol
In February of 2025, I suddenly developed a skin condition with itching and rash on both my arms, and itching with micro-pimples on other parts of my body. This all got worse in May. Was prescribed a topical corticosteroid which was helpful but the rashes still kept coming back on a regular basis. In August, a friend introduced me to the Budwig Protocol - 2 Tbsp of organic cold pressed flax seed oil emulsified in a cultured dairy. The BP uses a cottage cheese, but I used kefir and yogurt. I made a smoothy with some fruit and did this twice a day. I noticed positive results in just 1 week and definitely after 2 weeks. The itching and rashes stopped. If I stop taking the flax oil, the itching starts again but can be more easily controlled without the use of potent steroids which I was able to stop by end of August. All I need to use every now and then is an OTC hydrocortisone on small areas if needed.
Caution: even topical steroids can cause adrenal insufficiency when using potent ones especially covering large skin areas. Days after I stopped the topical corticosteroids, I developed a severe anxiety disorder that may be a symptom of adrenal insufficiency. This anxiety issue has been horrendous and still suffering after 4.5 months.
