I’ve been using LaRoche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+ Dimethicone Skin Protectant with good results. Redness is virtually gone. Lovastatin 2% used for 3 months produced no benefit for me.

Did they compound the statin with a cholesterol base ?

I tried both. Neither version was beneficial.
