Drinking wine when CoVid positive

Is it okay to have a glass of wine if you're mostly asymptomatic and 8 days past your first day of symptoms? If not, when would it be okay?

@dedwards, I can't answer your question for certain. Keep in mind that alcohol compromises the body’s immune system. Even when asymptomatic some people develop long haul COVID. You might wish to refrain from alcohol for a period of time to ensure your immune system is as strong as it can be. Have you talked to your doctor about this? Are you otherwise healthy or do you have other health conditions?
