Dr. Doug Lucas Has anyone here paid money to work with Dr. Lucas?

I have been following his Youtube channel, did his free masterclass and have learned a great deal. It is evident that he is highly intelligent, motivated, and ambitious. Today I listened to a 2022 podcast interview with him by a health/fitness professional in the UK (Tony Wingard with whom I am not familiar). I think this was just when the optimal bone health website was getting started. The interview is quite interesting as I learned a lot about Dr. Lucas’s background which I have not managed to find anywhere else. I was surprised to know that he was a professional ballet dancer for 2 years before going on to medical school because of his fascination with the muscular/skeletal systems. He also talks about how he moved from orthopedic surgeon to functional-anti-aging medicine and the influence of his wife who is a registered dietician. After listening to this podcast I do believe his main goal is to heal and teach. I like how he analyzes studies and updates information and recommendations.

I paid the $13000 to Dr Lucas. It was one of the most stressful years of my life. Never any contact from Lucas. Rather, a group of folks trying to play at knowing something. The following is what I wrote to Dr. Lucas. Never received a response. Based on my experience, I would recommend to stay away.
When I came to your program June 28, 2024, in your own words, I was a “rock star.” The work of myself and my doctors, despite my continuing gastroparesis since 2021, had nevertheless resulted in my DEXA scans going from -3.1 to -2.9 to -2.7 and last September 2024 to 2.7 on my spine. I was, in your own words, on a “ton of supplements,” high protein diet, bioidentical hormones, and resistance and impact training: ARXfit, BioDensity, weights, stomping, vibration therapy, physical therapy for osteoporosis, etc. As I exit your program, the state of my health is as follows:1. I leave with a great deal of inflammation (an 8 on the GI Effect) (Dysbiosis(7)2, While my bone mineral density continues to improve, my fragility score has gone from 57.7, 56.8, and 58.5 to 65.8, 65.8, 65 under your program. In your own words “these are not small numbers.” And “don’t know what to tell you, girl” does not seem professional or sufficient. I am not a “girl,” I am a 75 year old grandmother, and figuring out how to move the fragility needle is precisely the reason I came to your program. You are not telling me anything new by telling me bone health is long game. I have been diligently working since 2018 and before and I have obtained great results. Your question to Heidi of “what do you think has not been optimized for her” has not yet been answered. Why I came to optimal bone health. This was the piece I was looking for in your promise about Optimal Bone Health. But not only has it not been answered, it was never addressed. I am sorry, I cannot continue leaning into your program as you told me because your program has hurt me and placed me in a worst position. Being who I am, I am intrigued as to why. I hope you would too.

Dr Doug started a program to improve bone health but couldn’t keep it going…too much work running a business. It was a cobbled together group of health coaches and PA’s at a very expensive price. I was in that program and it was a total fail. No one actually had the time and knowledge to address bone issues on a personal basis (and I paid for the genetic test as well). The one meeting I had with Dr Doug by Zoom was just him going over my blood test. He obviously hadn’t looked at it before getting on camera, so he is a typical doctor that way. He told his PA to check a few things and that person never got back to me. It was just poorly organized and poorly thought out. I am not surprised that he gave up on it. He now is basically an influencer. I think he has knowledge to offer but so do a lot of other influencers.

Sounds to me that you both need a malpractice attorney.
