Double ablation
Cardiologist PE wants to refer me to Emory Cardiologist PE for an Ablation that would be for PVCs both inside the heart and those outside the heart. The procedure would be done at same time. Has anyone else had this done and what are your thoughts about this.

I had a single ablation done 19 mos. ago. So far it's holding. Never heard of a double ablation, but I' m not a doctor. Had two cardiac catheterizations which didn't hold. Anyway, good luck!
My brother had the, I think "hybrid" ablation after two failed single ablations and it worked great for him. They didn't do both at the same time, but I'm not up on the latest science on this so I would trust your cardiologist.
All the best!
Go to YouTube and find a video on ablations both inside and outside the heart. This is available. I didn't study it as I am hoping for the standard version in a couple months, but I did see referrals for the ablations you describe. Most big research hospitals will have information for you to look at ahead of your visit.
Ive had both one is done thru the groin into the inner part of the heart, The other one they go in from the outside like thru the abdomen area and approach from the outside. I had them done not at the same time but within a couple of days of each other. My exterior one was difficult as I had a caught at the time so its a more difficult one to do as the heart beating has more movement, I think. With me with a cough It did affect the ability to be successful. But this was 8 years ago and with medical science progressing every day it may be much easier these days.
I do know the purpose is to try and reach a electrical path that may be easier to reach from the outside. So maybe its they want the option to do both after they discover where they might be during the mapping phase.
