Does anyone here have a uterine/cervical cancer metastasis to brain?
My mother has had uterine/cervical cancer travel to her brain. I hear this is very rare. Does anyone have any experience with this condition? Thank you

@advocate1 This is so sad to know that your mother has metastasis to her brain. I don't have personal experience with this but my sister-in-law had gynecological cancer (I never found out what kind but I think it could have ovarian cancer). About 3 years after surgery and radiation she developed metastasis in many places in her body including her spine (she had back pain that wouldn't go away) and to her brain. However, as I wrote I don't know what kind of cancer she had as there are many types of cancers. For instance, I was diagnosed with endometroid adenocarcinoma and was told that if the cancer recurred I could develop metastasis to the lungs, colon, and breast. Nothing about the brain.
Your mother is fortunate to have you as her advocate (thinking of your screen name as advocate1).
Here are some discussions on the topic of brain metastasis related to gynecological cancers (I posted all that I could find even if the original discussion is not related to uterine or cervical cancer. Sometimes members jump in to discussions because they have related questions or comments).
