@ladonnai I posted it somewhere in that thread. That started everything now am from cane/surgery/meds/pain doc to zero scripts and hopping around like a jackrabbit.

@ladonnai
Very welcome. It's hard because missed son's last day of school in 8th grade, was in ER for 3 days '24 a basket case until 25, until found that book and even shared with pain doc, she agreed wholeheartedly.
Some was spiritual/psychological healing in conjunction, straight out of the book.

Good luck and may God bless you 2x as much!
Mark

I had this severe pain and was sent to physical therapy. I continued the easy stretches at home and pain disappeared. It has been over ten years ago. If I get a tiny hint of return I do the stretches and it is again gone. I hope you get help.

@yram I too have nasty sciatic pai from l1 / l5 narrowing that is not pleasant while sitting or trying to stand. The sciatica has gotten that bad that it caused poly neuropathy in my feet and lower extremeties.Gabepentin, lyrica, neurontin, amytriptyline, noratryptyline did nothing to slow down the progression to the point where I can barely walk. They ordered a mri but I cant have it done for 5 months due to the system scheduling

@applejack112 Sympathy for your pain I know what it is like.
If you are Canadian you could see a doctor and get an MRI and epidural injection. There is a $C 900 cost for private service. To get a referral I suggest Kinetix Clinic from Dr Helper. Vancouver. BC If you can barely walk get to an ER if possible. I have multiple back problems from DDD. It affects my sleep, weight, immune system and of course my mental health. Good luck. The injections worked after years, then I got nerve ablations. Helped more

@msmcecelia I have had epidural injections but over the last 6 yrs Ive been bounched among drs.Their all in the same network and will not use the own judgement. If you want and I beg you to share this ,look up Open Evidence as this is what drs in the states use.It an ai generated prognosis of any disability to spped along a drs visit to promote more business.Other than L1-L5 compression I have scoliosis between my shoulders and Dish.Defused idiopathic skellatal hypertosis along withe the dang poly neuropathy

I do most days. Why? I sometimes do the stretches I know should help but I hurt my back/shoulder yesterday and don’t want to make it worse. Seems like I get ready to get myself back “in shape” and then I hurt something (usually my arthritic knee) that makes me pause doing more than stretching.

@yram I feel for you. I have the same thing but on my left side. Its sad how eventually you just accept the pain as part of your life. Not right, not right at all.

My doctor prescribed gabapentin!

Zero pain now. One 300mg twice daily.

Minimal side effects for me. Side effects diminish over time!

Completely doable!!

Oh my! Please be careful with those drugs. They are not meant for long time use and everything comes with a price. Just please be careful.

My brother has been on it 8 years with no issues!

I’m 73 and with the my faith and the lawlessness and the depth of the corruption, for me, I’m like Paul, ‘to live is Christ, to die is gain!’
