Does anyone find that a type of shoe helps your foot neuropathy?
I am on a constant quest for shoes that don't kill my feet due to the neuropathy. I find that Spencos and Wolky shoes seem the best. Are there any other suggestions? Shoes can be just crippling for me. Horrid.

Be careful taking vitamin B supplements. I was tested and found to have toxic levels of B6
I had to discontinue any shoe other than flat or slight arch support soft tennis shoes. Saucony brand . With diabetic, loose fitting socks from Walmart. The only way I am able to leave the house for short outings like grocery shopping, is to use Lidocaine cream all over the foot and ankle. It helps for hours. I have to apply it a couple times daily. Soaking feet in Epsom salts every night helps. Neuropathy truly sucks!
Me too on finding out I was taking too much B complex. I thought B vitamins were flushed out of the body, with urination, if I took too much of the B complex. I was wrong!! I had toxic levels found out through annual blood tests.
Thank you for the heads-up!
All were toxic levels but my B1 was low. Glad you are getting help. Another thing to watch when taking supplements.
Charlie girl, I have had 2 bunion surgeries. First one left me with nerve damage , neuropathy and burning mouth syndrome. Second one 18 months ago has made every toe bending left metatarsal and little toe so sore can't wear but a pair of sneakers with the side cut out, suggestion of my foot Dr her fix for the surgery issue she created. Lots of difficulty walking. Use a cane for support. My 13 yr old Shih Tzu has Cushings disease and a spine injury. This is sad watching.
i am sorry to hear about your pain and suffering. I have this burning mouth problem too. I have to discontinue eating anything spicy, tomatoes, anything acidic. And stop drinking any soda. I have celiac disease and fibromyalgia. I found that gluten free diet has helped my overall health. And a big problem with my mouth burning all the time, was solved by stopping using any mint toothpaste or mouthwash. I have to use kid's Crest strawberry flavor toothpaste!
My dentist told me about discontinuing mint products She was right!!
I hope your problems ease up.
Fitville ........look them up online. A complete line of wide shoes with extra wide toe boxes. I wear recovery sandals, like walking on a cloud. I wear bi-lateral AFOs and require a 13 4E.
