Does anyone find that a type of shoe helps your foot neuropathy?
I am on a constant quest for shoes that don't kill my feet due to the neuropathy. I find that Spencos and Wolky shoes seem the best. Are there any other suggestions? Shoes can be just crippling for me. Horrid.

Yes, I did buy them. Back then they were $300. Now that same shoe is $400.
Remember I had neuropathy and plantar fasciitis at the same time when I bought them. They are still comfortable for me. My feet are virtually completely numb so I can't speak as to whether or not they would still help painful neuropathy.

I think Mephisto may start around $99 for men (sandals) and go way way way up from there. They have a $4,000 shoe for women.
I saw a $30,000 men’s pair but if correct, I don't think they're available now. Sorry to disappoint you.
You can't take it with you Ray.
My favorites shoes are New Balance 990’s version 5 although for me the earlier versions were more comfortable but my feet hurt then instead of just numbness.
Take care,
Jake
I checked out the Mephisto website under Sale and/or Clearance and they had some good sales. I'll give them a try. Also they are also on EBay if you can find your size new w/o boxes, etc. I use a professional grade massage machine on my feet and it feels wonderful. My neuropathy isn't too advanced but I really like the machine. My best to you.
I have at least one pair of all the shoes mentioned above except Mephisto & none of them meet to all around usefulness of my barefoot shoes which are made specifically for neuropathy.
the barefoot shoes by Grounded are the only shoes I can wear without pain. While I am wearing them my neuopathy pain is gone

But I am planning to take them with me. I already have them packed for hot weather.
SKECHERS! Or any memory foam shoe!
Yes very comfortable
Barefoot shoes have made significant difference for me in my workouts, walking, making my feet stronger in the tiny muscles often not used in shoes like HOKA, etc I wear them all the time and I’ve seen improvement in less pain
My doctor told me that only support hose would help and if they’re too tight, my toes are feeling like they’re broken. The pain is excruciating. It does help the swelling in my feet a bit but when I take them off if they get swollen again.
That made me laugh. Thanks for that, I do not laugh as much these days since my PN went to a new high. Here, I thought I was kind of "leveling off". I thought I was finally getting used to my disability. I thought I knew what I could and could not do, since this started a long time ago!. It's funny (only NOW) that I once used a phrase, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" Who thought that one up? Not true. anyway, I have a NEW "level" of pain, after ALL these years!! So, why am I announcing this? I did not think I could get worse, since I have had this miserable pain since the late 80's. The only thing that I do that I have not read about is changing my shoes every day until I run out of shoes. I tried to wear the same pair twice in a row and ha ha, that decision changed in minutes. Where's our cure? Let's all still hope.
