Does anybody’s muscle feel like lead and going up the steps feels like weight on your legs?

So, it does really depend person - to - person. Sometimes it hurts too much, but I have a lot of trigger points that I need worked out which always sucks big time. So it is what it is. I'm in pain either way.... I've been on Lyrica for years but it took YEARS to get to the point where that took the edge off along with a muscle relaxer twice daily. So that's where I'm at. Hope that helps.

yes, YES! had to practice going up steps more! I was SHOCKED how much I struggled to get up a set of stairs at my cousin's last year when I spent the night. Noticed the second day it was a touch better. Over a year, I started working on those muscles more by going up the stairs and when I returned to their home this holiday, I glided up the stairs much better! So I returned to an old habit of taking the stairs wherever I go, @deedeelite45 Old fashioned exercise is a must! You don't have to do anything but take the stairs. Find some stairs to practice. You won't regret it. Do it a little at a time so you don't create some other pain. (I always have to worry, about that!)

YES!!!! I am trying to strengthen my muscles, but there are days when it’s not just the legs - it’s the whole body and not only can I not get out of bed, I feel as though I can’t even roll over. Those days are just lost causes.

I had this happen regularly. Found out my potassium levels were very low, due to diaretic BP meds (probably all the cups of tea trying to get some energy didn't help either).

Yeah and it seems to have gotten worse, lately. I think maybe it's because I have been much less active this past year so I am going to try daily walks again to see if that helps. I feel like every symptom of fibromyalgia has been getting worse as I age, even though I have been told fibromyalgia doesn't get worse. It's very hard to stay active when the pain can be so bad but I think it might be the only thing that helps. It's so frustrating!

Yep I agree. This is very trying to say the least. I clean for a living and I’m active, but there are days where it is so bad. I just wanna give up. I found if I lay around to much I’m much worse, so I guess my job does help😳
