Does any have polymyositis?

I have rheumatoid arthritis for over 25 years not . I now have polymyositis. I was first diagnosed with polymyositis a year and a half ago. It has been a life changing event both physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’ve had to take high doses of steroids for several months to get flare under control. I was already on methotrexate for RA. I must say I have a wonderful rheumatologist and great family support. Has anyone else been affected by this particular myositis?
